UPDATE AS OF 3/23/2026 AT 8:21 AM: KINA IS NO LONGER MISSING.

The Jacksonville Police Department is attempting to locate 17-year-old Kina Wilson who was last seen leaving her residence in the Forest Grove area, on foot, on Sunday, March 15th at approximately 4:00 PM.

Kina was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts. She is described as being approximately 5’4, 115 lbs.

If you have seen Kina, or know of her whereabouts, please contact the Jacksonville Police Department at 910-455-4000 or Detective Butler at 910-938-5034 and reference case number 26-01751.

We’re now accepting applications for our Sea to Stars Fellowship, a joint fellowship with NASA / North Carolina Space Grant! Applications are due by Monday, April 13 at 5pm ET.

Two fellowships may be awarded to students whose projects address a priority research need within the state’s nearshore environments, coastal areas, watersheds or human activities in these areas.

Join us Thanksgiving morning for a casual, family-and-pet-friendly Olde Point Turkey Trot. No timing, no pressure -just a fun neighborhood stroll to kick off the day.

Only a few days out! Burn off some Thanksgiving day excitement doing a loop of Olde Point which is approximately 1.17 miles for those who like exact measurements. Start and stop at the HOA lot or keep going if you like! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃 🏃‍♂️ 🦃
