Hampton BMX Track We are a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization and USA BMX (bicycle motocross) sanctioned racetrack in Hampton, VA. since 1979.

Back in business!!

The BMX sport and the track is successful only because of the community of volunteers and sponsors. There’s always a need. Check the list below to see if there’s a way you can continue to support the track and the riders. No gift or service is too small.

Hey everyone! The track is still shut down due to maintenance and will be for a while due to weather.
Hampton BMX is in need of a few items this year to maintain our track as our current inventory is on its last legs.

ATV - Our current ATV is in rough shape to say the least. If we can get it started, the four wheel drive is barely functional and the front end is very messed up. We are looking for a used ATV to help us maintain the track.

Water Pump - Our water pump seized, and then was subsequently stolen this weekend. We will need another water pump to water our track from the bay.

Compactor- we have one currently, but our updates to the track would really benefit from a second one.

County Grill Hampton and Hampton BMX are teaming up to help raise funds on 24 October 2024! If you show them this flyer during your order, County Grill will donate a portion of the sale to Hampton BMX! Come out and get some delicious BBQ.

Practice Schedule:
10 - 10:30 AM: 12 & under
10:30 - 11 AM: 13 & over
11 - 11:30 AM: 12 & under
11:30 AM - 12 PM: 13 & over
12 - 12:15 PM: balance bikes
Parade lap: 12:15 PM

Fee: $40 per rider | $15 balance bike

What a crew to get it done!!!! The track is ready for practice tomorrow and our clinic and Pro/Am this weekend!

PLEASE come out this Saturday for our Pro/Am event at Hampton BMX. Bring any extra bikes, parts and pieces and let’s buy/trade with each other throughout the duration of the race and don’t forget some cash will be won!!!!

Help us cheer on the riders and racers taking on the Paris Olympic Games! From Wednesday to Friday, BMX is on the main stage!

It was a hot but beautiful day of racing yesterday! Thank you to Wi******er BMX for hosting us at yesterday’s State Race event. Everything turned out wonderful!

Forewarning: after nearly two weeks of terrible weather and abuse, and the inability to work the track because of the constant weather, there will not be practice on Tuesday if we cannot get the help Monday night. Instead, we will be using that time Tuesday night to get the track ready for our 3 August Pro/AM and Clinics. We will have some members working the track throughout the weekend, but we know almost everyone will be at Wi******er for the State Qualifier. There is no race at Hampton BMX this Saturday.
