Harlan Little League held its annual officer elections on Sunday, September 13, at Huff Park. We are proud to announce your Harlan Little League Board of Officers for the 2026–2027 season!

President — Burl Fee Jr.
Vice President of Baseball — Sherman Ward
Vice President of Softball — Michael Sutton
Player Agent — Alonda Lane
Treasurer — Jonni Taylor
Secretary — Shaun Burnette
Safety Officer — Steven Lewis

We want to thank everyone who attended the meeting and everyone who has stepped forward to serve our league. These positions require a lot of time, work, and dedication behind the scenes, and we appreciate each person willing to help make Harlan Little League successful.

As we begin preparing for the 2027 season, our goal is to continue building on the progress we’ve made, improve the experience for our players and families, and make Harlan Little League something our entire community can be proud of.

There is a lot of work ahead, and we’re excited to get started!

Harlan Little League is preparing for the 2027 season!

We will be holding our annual Officer Elections and Board Meeting on Sunday, September 13 at 2:00 PM at the Harlan Little League office, located upstairs at Huff Park.

If you are interested in serving on the Harlan Little League Board, becoming an officer, volunteering, or simply getting more involved with our league next season, we encourage you to attend.

Our league depends on volunteers who are willing to give their time and work together to provide the best possible experience for the kids in our community. Whether you’ve been involved for years or you’re interested in helping for the first time, we would love to have you join us.

Harlan Little League is incredibly proud of our 8U Softball All-Stars!

To our players, coaches, and families,please know that today’s outcome is not a reflection of the heart, effort, and determination you showed all season. You represented Harlan and our county with class, grit, and sportsmanship, and we couldn’t be more proud of each of you.

We are disappointed that your season came to an end due to the tournament’s decision following today’s weather delays. As League President, I have reached out to Little League International and others within Little League to respectfully request clarification and a review of how today’s decision was made.

Regardless of the outcome of that review, nothing changes what this team accomplished. You inspired an entire community, and Harlan County stood proudly behind you every step of the way.

Congratulations on an incredible season. We are proud to call you Harlan Little League All-Stars, and we can’t wait to see what each of you accomplishes in the future.

Shelby Reed from Harlan and Payton Cash from Trace Creek were named Most Outstanding Players from their teams. Trace Creek beat Harlan 13-4

The 8u girls won the first game of the day!! They are 1-0 and will play the second round game today at 3:00!

This weekend, our Harlan Little League family has something special to celebrate as both our 8U Coach Pitch Softball Team and our Senior League Softball Team represent Harlan at the Kentucky State Tournament!

As President of Harlan Little League, I couldn’t be more proud of these young ladies, their coaches, and their families. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have earned you this opportunity, and you’ve already made our league and all of Harlan County proud.

Go out, play with confidence, have fun, support one another, and leave it all on the field. No matter the outcome, you’ll always be champions to us.

Good luck, girls! We’re all behind you and cheering you on every step of the way.
