Newbie here.....Is the whole cup-de-sac lit up, or just your house.
Will the Halloween show be on again this year?!??!
When will the Halloween Lights begin ?
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. We spent the past week pretending not to be as old as we are, helping our oldest move into a new house. Almost done and then I can take some time to celebrate!
If you’re this person and see this, there’s a line for a reason. You drove past at least 4 other cars and took the next open spot that we had been patiently waiting for. Merry Christmas inconsiderate people.
Great time last night at Linglestown Lights. Teta, Grayson and I loved the show.

Over 50,000 lights all put up my one man. They also had a mailbox that you can put donations in to Make-A-Wish and a cookie table!

Thank you all for another amazing season of the Linglestown lights! I got to talk with so many people hearing their stories and how much the lights have become a part of their yearly traditions. It takes a small miracle to make this happen each year. This year has proven to me that people continue to make memories here that they won’t soon forget. That alone is reason enough for me to continue this each year. That was why I originally started doing the show many years ago! It was also magical getting to help coordinate a proposal this year! That will be a memory that we will never forget ourselves!

Now the process begins of taking down all of the lights and equipment outside over the next month or two. Hope to be back bigger and better next year! Feel free to comment any ideas of things you’d like to see added! 😉

Best wishes in the new year, and may the spirit of the season stay with you all year long!

Just a reminder that tonight is your final chance to see the 2022 display! The show will be on from 5-10 tonight.

Wishing everyone a happy New Year! I just finished editing all of the videos for this year. Check them out on YouTube below and be sure to subscribe to keep up with future uploads!

Also a reminder that the final night of the lights will be January 7th. Time is running out to come see the show this year before I start packing things up!

Photos from Linglestown Lights Page's post 12/27/2022

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Just a reminder that the lights are still on - with the final day being January 7th. The crowds peaked around Christmas and are already back down pretty low again. As I write this, there is only one car outside - and we’ve generally been seeing around 4-8 here at a time on weeknights. The crowds will keep getting smaller the closer we get to the last night. If you have not yet been out to see the lights, the next several days should be a great time to do so! Thankfully the temperatures are going back up as well!

If you have any questions, requests, or would like a real time traffic update - please feel free to send me a message! I’m always happy to help!

The show details and visiting guidelines can be found at www.LinglestownLights.com

Only 11 days left until Christmas! The lights are still on and shining bright every night! It’s always fun walking around finding unique angles to take pictures from!

The lights are on from 5-9 Sundays-Thursdays and 5-10 Fridays and Saturdays. We are at 5780 Stillwell Court in Harrisburg. Feel free to walk around the show to see the lights up close! If traffic is busy, you can park on nearby streets and walk in! The pauses between songs are perfect for taking pictures! The music is played outside and on 98.1 FM in your car!

Traffic hasn’t been too busy on weeknights this year! We are averaging around 4-5 cars here at a time on those nights. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights tend to be the busiest. Crowds will get larger as we get closer to Christmas!

Be sure to see www.LinglestownLights.com for the show visiting rules, hours, and other information! Please adhere to the rules out of respect for all living nearby!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to announce that tonight (Friday Nov 25th) at 5 pm, we will officially kick off the 2022 Linglestown Lights Christmas display!🎄💡🎁
More details below!👇🏻

We are at 5780 Stillwell Court in Harrisburg, PA and the show times will be:
5-9 Sunday night thru Thursday night and 5-10 on Friday and Saturday nights!

Please see our website for the full list of rules and information about visiting. In short - please follow the curb when watching and pulling in, don’t ever stop in front of driveways, don’t park facing towards the house, and keep the music at low levels.

www.LinglestownLights.com

You can tune to 98.1 FM to listen from your car. You are also encouraged to park on the surrounding streets and walk in on the sidewalk. You can watch from the curb or walk through our yard to get a closer look and avoid any traffic.

This year I have decided not to solicit any donations for charity during the show. The collection of donations was causing undue strife for some in the neighborhood. To prevent unnecessary stress on myself, keep my focus on work, and avoid many last minute rushed changes and applications - I have decided to hold off altogether. So please avoid dropping off donations this year... Instead, I encourage you to find a local charity of your choosing and make a donation! Also, we will not be setting out free cookies and treats this year. Just to get ahead of any issues this would very likely create.

There isn’t a whole lot new this year - as I have been focused on getting settled in at my first full time job. I will just be adding more lights to the trees and bushes to make them look even more festive! That’s about it for this year!

ADDRESS: 5780 Stillwell Court Harrisburg, PA
HOURS: 6:30-10
RADIO STATION: 98.1 FM
SHOW VISITING GUIDELINES: I wanted to put out a warning and some guidelines for visiting the show. Someone, not related to us, will likely be going around at times and trying to get visitors in trouble who stop their cars in the street or in front of a driveway. It comes down to you the guests following these guidelines to avoid having any issues come up as a result. There is nothing we can do aside from offer guidance to help prevent this.

1. Lower Paxton Township Police suggest the best idea would be legally parking your cars along nearby Ranger Road, Catherine Street, Laurel Street, or any other nearby street and walking in to see the lights. This lets you take your time and not have to worry about the traffic. Music will be played outside nightly! Feel free to bring blankets, chairs, and a warm beverage! You have permission to set them up on our property to sit and watch the lights!

2. Please stay on the sidewalks when walking to our house. Feel free to walk around our yard once you get to the house!

3. If you would like to watch from your car, hug the curb all the way through the cul-de-sac. Parking in the middle facing the house is something this individual can report you for. Do not follow other cars ahead if they park this way.

4. Do not stop your car in front of anybody’s driveway - no matter the length of time. Instead, wait for room to clear ahead and pass the driveway. This again could be reported.

5. If traffic is backed up, keep the line slowly moving through the cul-de-sac. If there are not many cars here, you can stop horizontally alongside the curb in front of our house. If this is not enough time to view the show, please feel free to make a return visit or park on the surrounding streets and walk up.

6. Keep the volume to a reasonable level out of respect for others

Thank you!

It’s about that time of year to kick off the 2022 light displays! Sadly, this year the ‘dancing’ light show cannot take place until October 25th. BUT the lights will still be on SOLID and just as spooky until then! 🎃🍁🍂 (DETAILS BELOW)

The ‘non-dancing’ Halloween lights are on every night from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. We are at 5780 Stillwell Ct. in Linglestown, PA and the music is on 98.1 FM. Visitors to the cul-de-sac: feel free to walk around the display if you would like to look around and take pictures! As anticipated, there has been no traffic here whatsoever. There have to be fewer than 10 cars a night here so far.

Please respect all the residents living in the houses in the local area: no blocking driveways, loud music, horn blowing, littering, etc.

This should still be a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit! 🎃🍁🍂 I will post several reminders of when the lights will start “dancing” so everyone who wants to can still see them! I will run the show a few days further into November to make up for lost time.

The township was pushed (for the first time) to enforce a little-known code involving “flashing lights” that we were never aware of. FYI, apparently no lights are ever supposed to flash, flicker, or strobe on your property in Lower Paxton Township 🤷‍♂️ (except for seasonal lights between Oct. 25 and Jan. 10). So, I will have the lights on solid every night until the 25th! I will broadcast some spooky tunes over the radio as well, only the lights will not ‘dance’ to them until the 25th.

This year I made a new black cat and flying bat figure! There will also be a couple more jack-o-lanterns making an appearance. I have a new “dancing” light sequence ready that goes to the “Ghostbusters” theme! (Will debut October 25 with the start of the “dancing” lights).

Be sure to follow along for show updates and announcements!

Thank you all for another amazing season out here at the display! We have received so many positive comments and feedback from everyone this year! It means so much to hear how many people were able to come out and enjoy the show! Many of which now make us a part of their yearly family traditions!

The long process of taking everything down will start in a few days. Taking the lights down goes much quicker than putting them up, it’s just rough spending hours out in the freezing temps! The house always looks so bare and empty right after the tens of thousands of lights are removed ☹️. Already setting plans in motion for next year!

Through everyone’s support, we were able to just break $8,000 on the final night with a total of $8,049 raised this year for Make-A-Wish!
Thank you all for your support in helping out such a great cause! A portion of the funds were donated earlier to the local Make-A-Wish branch. The remainder has been going in chunks to Make-A-Wish America, which we have exclusively donated to in the past! This fund sends the donations to branches that don’t get as much support as others, helping to grant wishes that otherwise may not have been possible! We came pretty close to last years total of around $9,000!

I will not be posting much on here until we get closer to October. Feel free to message me at any time on Facebook or through my website for any questions, comments, updates, or anything else. I continue to get notifications all year long.

Thank you all again for an amazing season!

Couldn’t resist! Here are a bunch of snow photos taken late last night! Only 3 more nights left to stop by! The lights will be on from 5-10 tonight through Sunday! The snow really makes the colors stand out!

We are at 5780 Stillwell Court. Watch from the warmth of your car on 98.1 FM! Donations are collected for Make-A-Wish in a box near the mailbox, or through CashApp and Venmo

Looks like we may get some snow tonight! The lights are still on and look GREAT under a fresh blanket of white! Just be cautious on the roads if you want to come and see! We are also still collecting for Make-A-Wish and are close to reaching $8,000 for the year!! Please help us in making kids dreams come true!

We are one of the very few remaining displays up, with the last night set for this Sunday! There has been absolutely no traffic this past week, usually 0-2 cars here at a time! These are the final days to get one last show in for the season!

We are at 5780 Stillwell Court and the lights will be on from 5 to 10, though will likely be extended later to around 11!

Enjoy these snow photos from last year!

Just a reminder that the lights are still up and running and will be for at least a week into the new year! 🎉💡There hasn’t been much of a crowd the past few days, so you should be able to drive right up and watch! Now is the time to come if you would like to see the lights without the rush of pre-Christmas traffic!

The last day is planned for January 9th, but it could be a few days sooner if people stop coming out. The lights will be on from 5-11 PM and may be extended later if there are still cars outside.

Be sure to drop off a donation for Make-A-Wish near our mailbox to help us in supporting this wonderful cause that helps critically ill Children! Thank you for your support!

We are at 5780 Stillwell court in Linglestown and the audio is on 98.1 FM. We still have cookies and chocolates out near the driveway too!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! 🎄🎁 The lights will still be on until January 9th unless posted otherwise!

There is still plenty of time to come check out the show if you haven’t gotten to yet, or want to see it again with much less traffic! They will be on from 5 to midnight tonight (Dec. 26) and then go back to 5-11 tomorrow (Dec. 27)!

We still have plenty of cookies/treats out for you to enjoy and are still collecting money for Make-A-Wish! Thank you to everyone who has helped us in our cause so far this year! We are aiming to have the second highest total this year!

The later you stop by, the smaller the crowds will be, though there isn’t usually much of a line in the days after Christmas.

We are at 5780 Stillwell Court in Linglestown and the show is completely free! The music is on 98.1 FM. Donations are accepted in the box near our mailbox and through CashApp and Venmo: LinglestownLights

12/22/2021

Hi everyone! Two of our neighbors wanted us to remind you of some rules when coming to visit us. In short, do not block the driveways at ANY time, keep the noise down after 8:30/9:00, and do not litter. This is a big issue with the driveways on the straightaway entering the cul de sac, and the one just to the right of our house. If someone is flashing their lights at you, please let them pass, but just keep the driveways clear to avoid this problem.

Our next-door neighbor mentioned he must get out of his car every single night after work and knock-on windows just to get into his driveway. I had not noticed this or been aware of this until now so please keep the driveways clear to avoid this. I know our neighbors did not ask for this and I am certain a few are not at all fond of me or my display. Our other neighbor let us know that many refuse to let her turn into her family’s driveway in the middle of the straightaway. Please stop before the driveway and pull forward when there is enough room to do so. Have patience please. The back of the cul-de-sac should not be blocked to allow visitors a path to exit. This also provides us and our neighbors a path to loop around the parked cars when getting home. See the attached diagram for reference.

To be more specific, I was requested to mention: not to slam your car doors, play the radio too loudly, idle loud diesel engines, or yell and scream. There are young kids in the neighborhood that go to bed early for school. Also, do not let animals into neighbor’s yards to use the restroom. As the owners of two dogs, if they really must go, you are more than welcome to take them on the side of our house. Just please clean up after them or ask for bags, we have plenty to spare!
Nothing is changing with the show! I will continue to spread holiday cheer and raise money for a good cause doing what I love! Just please keep the residents in mind when coming to visit. I cannot control what people ultimately end up doing regardless of how many times I post it. All said and done, the crowds are only bad on select days/times for a few weeks out of the year. I will continue to clean up the street, as I always have, of litter and lost items when I notice it.

The crowds have been much smaller this year from the last, and from what I see every night, much more orderly than last year. I personally thank everyone who has helped with that!

Thank you so much for your cooperation and have a very merry Christmas!
Aidan Carrigan

Christmas is just around the corner! Still plenty of nights to check out the show before and after the big day! For this week, the lights will run from 5 to midnight as long as there are still cars out watching! This is a great time to have the display to yourself without any traffic.

We are still collecting donations for Make-A-Wish! Please help us in granting some wishes this Christmas season! I truly appreciate all the support everyone has given in our efforts to help make these kids dreams come true! This year, we are splitting the donations between the national Make-A-Wish (that we usually donate to) and our local branch!

We are at 5780 Stillwell Court in Linglestown PA. The audio will be broadcast on 98.1 FM and played outside. After 11, audio will only be on the radio and not played outside. Just be sure to keep the volume reasonable for the late hours.

Please see the parking diagram in the photos and try to follow it! This will prevent blocking up traffic in the cul de sac!

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!!

🌧☔️💧The lights WILL be on at 5 tonight despite the rain in the forecast! Looks like it is supposed to dry up between 7 and 8. For the best show, I would recommend trying to come after then 👍🏻

Sections of lights may go out during heavy rainfall. If you see lights flashing randomly (not to the music), that is just them trying to come back on and is normal.

The traffic hasn’t been as crazy as last year on weeknights so far. Especially after 8:00 when there is hardly ever a line.

Hi everyone! I’m happy to announce that this Monday, Nov 22 at 5 pm, I will officially kick off the 2021 Linglestown Lights Christmas display! There are around 20,000 new lights this year that will “dance” along to two new songs! 🎄💡🎁
More details below!👇🏻

After over 150 hours spent installing this years show, it is finally ready to go!
We are at 5780 Stillwell Court in Harrisburg, PA and the show will run from 5 - 11 every night rain or shine! The show hours will be extended around Christmas, with the rough schedule here:

5-11 November 22 - December 17
5-12 December 18 - December 26
5-11 December 27 - January 4
5-10 January 5 - January 9
*See Facebook and Website for any Changes
www.LinglestownLights.com

You can tune to 98.1 FM to listen from your car. You are also welcome to walk all around the display or watch the show from the curb to get a closer look.

We will be accepting donations for the Make-A-Wish foundation again in the red and white donation box near our mailbox. ✨We are also now accepting donations through cashapp ($LinglestownLights) and Venmo (). Please help us in granting some wishes!!!

On busy nights, please pull in to the cul de sac facing the house (so multiple cars can watch at once) with your headlights off. Please leave an exit path towards the back of the cul de sac. To ease traffic flow, try to follow the attached parking map.

Please keep our neighbors happy: avoid blocking their driveways and keep the music to a reasonable level. Thanks!

Here’s what’s new for this year: I added 2 new songs making for a total of 13 “We Wish You The Merriest” by John Tesh and “The Christmas Tree” by David Rose. I also added many thousands of red and green lights completely covering the upper and lower roofs of the house (the most lights ever added in a single year!!!). I also added a new color changing Christmas tree in the yard with 1,400 lights, 9 new decorations scattered throughout the yard, and I doubled the number of twinkling strobe lights that were added last year. You will also hear a second “radio host” providing information between songs!

Here is this years song order:
1. “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo” - Trans Siberian Orchestra
2. “Feliz Navidad” - Jose Feliciano
3. “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” - Arthur Fiedler
4. NEW “We Wish You the Merriest” - John Tesh
5. “A Mad Russians Christmas” - Trans Siberian Orchestra
6. “Jingle Bells?” - Barbara Streisand
7. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” - Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
8. “Winter Wonderland” - Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
9. “Wizards in Winter” - Trans Siberian Orchestra
10. “Sleigh Ride” - Fun.
11. “Christmas is Starting Now” - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
12. NEW “The Christmas Tree” - David Rose
13. “All I Want for Christmas is You” - Mariah Carey
