Adult Co-Ed Kickball Summer League Rules

League Structure
- **Teams**:
- Each team will be named based on a color.
- Teams must include a minimum of 8 players, with at least 2 substitutes.
- Each team must consist of at least 2 players of different s*xes, ensuring a co-ed mix.

Team Colors
1. **Red Team**
2. **Blue Team**
3. **Green Team**
4. **Yellow Team**
5. **Purple Team**
6. **Orange Team**

Player Eligibility
- All players must be 18 years or older.
- Each team must submit a roster of players before the start of the season.
- Players may only play for one team throughout the season.

Game Rules
1. **Game Duration**:
- Each game will consist of 7 innings.
- There will be a time limit of 1 hour per game. If an inning is ongoing when the time limit is reached, it will be completed before the game ends.

2. **Team Composition**:
- Each team must field 8 players (minimum of 4 of each s*x).
- Teams can include a maximum of 4 male and 4 female players in the field simultaneously.

3. **Scoring**:
- Points are scored by running around the bases and returning to home plate.
- Each player crossing home plate will score 1 point for their team.

4. **Outs**:
- A team gets 3 outs per inning.
- Players can be put out by:
- Catching a kicked ball before it hits the ground (fly out).
- Touching a base before the runner reaches it (force out).
- Tagging a runner with the ball when off a base.

5. **Kicking**:
- All players must kick the ball in a designated order, alternating between male and female players.
- Each player must kick the ball at least once before the order resets.

6. **Substitutions**:
- Teams may substitute players at any time, but substitutions must occur at the beginning of an inning.
- Each team can make a maximum of 2 substitutions per game.

Referees
- Each game will be officiated by one or two referees depending on availability.
- Referees will enforce all league rules, make judgment calls on plays, and ensure fair play.
- Referee decisions are final and must be respected by all players and teams.

Conduct
- Sportsmanship is a core value of the league. All players are expected to show respect to teammates, opponents, and referees.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warnings, suspension from the game, or removal from the league.
- Alcohol consumption during games is permitted. However, players may enjoy beverages in designated areas after games conclude.

Playoffs
- At the end of the regular season, the top four teams based on win-loss records will qualify for the playoffs.
- Playoff format will depend on the number of participating teams and will be announced at the beginning of the season.

Miscellaneous
- Teams are encouraged to come dressed in matching team colors.
- Rainouts or weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled as necessary.
- All players must sign a waiver before participating in the league.
