Don’t fret, your Catfish will be back on the ice soon. Until then, here is our roster for the Summer 2026 season. We said goodbye to some old faces, but also hello to some new ones!

Get ready, Twin Ponds! We are coming for ya!

This past weekend, the Capital City Catfish represented Twin Ponds up in Pittsburgh for a great weekend of hockey, laughs, and of course, all the beer! We are also proud to announce that we have successfully gotten not one, but TWO Catfish victories. Hoping we made all the other teams from Twin Ponds proud by representing our home rink well.

Here are our three Players of the Game!

Jeremy Winn - After some goalie issues, Jeremy stepped up for his first Catfish and Adult league game in net. He made some great saves and helped us secure our first Catfish victory!

Rob Kramer - In a battle playing against a team that was highly outmatched than us, Rob constantly kept up and saved us from a ton of situations. The constant effort from him was fantastic and greatly appreciated!

Jesse White - Jesse has shown tremendous improvement since he started skating. Always giving 120% effort and putting himself out there has paid off tremendously with his first Catfish goal, and it was a beauty!

Keep an eye out for more information for next season. It is coming soon, and you can better believe after this weekend we are fired up and ready to rumble!

Yesterday was our year anniversary of being a team. While we still may not have gotten our first win, we have greatly improved. From a group of people who mainly just started playing hockey (some of us it is the first time having an experience of any organized sport), all from different walks of life and different experiences, coming together to enjoy a game that we have come to love. Throughout the highs and the lows, we have made great improvements the last 3 seasons. Take a look at some of our stats from when we first started to now.

While we have lost some people, we have added some new ones as well that have been great additions. The new season starts in a couple of weeks and we are ready to rumble. Let’s go Catfish!
