We had so much fun at the Pennsylvania Governor's Residence. Thank you to the Pennsylvania Commission for Women for hosting us. And to Inspire - Female Athletic Training for introducing us to Sole Training; Keystone Dance Project for teaching us some moves. And Hershey's Ice Cream - the perfect way to end our incredible week!

Our very own Keystone Dance Project will be part of our awesome show on Mother's Day for Dance Street during the Olde York Street Fair! Dancers in this project are young adults from the Harrisburg area who are excited to give back by sharing their training with local youth. KDP dancers are trained to perform and also teach younger students in master classes. Most importantly, KDP encourages growth of the total person- mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The studio plans for Sunday. 2:30 Charleston lesson with Carla LaRue Heiney with an open practice afterwards. I will be heading to Reading to meet with Wanda and her hip hop dancers.

Steam Summer Camp 2017

So after five long weeks of teaching at the Jump Street Steam Summer School Camp we got it done. The kids got a chance to learn social party dances that we do in hip hop now and back in the 80's. We grew a special bond and from this got the idea to create our youth dance crew KDPYDC. A lot of our crew members are in this video. So it's been a while since we posted anything and boy have we been busy. But KDP is starting a youth mentoring group of young dancers called KDPYDC. Standing for keystone dance project youth dance crew we already have some talented dancers.
