Teaming up with SD Legendary Tails and getting some cool lily pads for mounts! Drilled a hole for wire and a quick touch of paint they look awesome.
These are moldable with a heat gun even. Going to look really cool with some fish coming up soon.

Little photo dump of things that have been worked on the past few weeks.

Starting to get some birds finished, some more mounted and drying and filling time with fish in between.

This before and after is quite dramatic. Recent repair that came in, amazing what some new fins and paint can do.

Been learning a lot these past couple years. Between online videos, chatting with other taxidermists and just plain going back to my handy paint brushes I pulled my first blue at the state show. In addition to that I got best of category in the professional division.
Thanks to everyone who puts in the time to run the show and the judges who put in their time to give seminars and critiques so we can keep improving.

How about some exotic notebook covers 😍 each one is refillable, magnetic clasp and a small pocket on the inside. They are all for the paper size A5. Giraffe, zebra and impala from Africa.

Few projects that had been finished up, few pheasants, replica walleye and got to paint a fun bluegill. And a nice 15" perch mounted and drying.
Waiting on supplies to start mounting competition mounts for next month, bases almost completed. Still undecided on how to mount a pheasant for this year, or if I'm bringing just one or two 😅
