I consider myself a very fortunate coach!! If you are blessed to be able to coach the kinds of kids that I have been able to coach, and to be a part of the schools and staffs that I’ve been able to be a part of, then don’t take it for granted. And be prepared!! The time will absolutely fly by!! My advice to the young folks.. enjoy every second of your life. Be thankful in everything and everyone that you meet! I certainly have! God bless each of you this upcoming season!

I start my 26th year coaching high school football in Alabama today!! It seems like I’m just getting started! Where has the time gone?! I’ve been fortunate to have coached hundreds of great kids, and to have watched them grow into great husbands, fathers and some great coaches in their own right! That’s been the greatest part of it. Here’s to a great 2026 season! Let’s go!!

The 16th Annual Team Striplin Quarterback Camp was a blast!! We learned the fundamentals of the position, the basics of leadership, and most importantly we were able to hear the gospel message!! Thank you for each and every athlete that participated!
