After 15 years, it’s time to close the chapter on Heartland Basketball.
What started as a small club program grew into something incredibly meaningful for me and for so many players and families over the years. I’ve had the privilege of coaching so many kids who showed up ready to work, compete, and grow. Watching them develop not just as basketball players, but as teammates, leaders, and confident young individuals has been one of the greatest rewards.
There are so many memories — practices, long tournament weekends, big wins, tough losses, and countless moments of growth along the way. Those experiences and the relationships built through Heartland will always mean a lot to me.
I’m incredibly grateful to every player who wore a Heartland jersey and every parent who trusted me with their kids. Your commitment and support are what made the program special.
Fifteen years is a long time, and while it’s bittersweet to step away, I know it’s the right time to move on and focus on the next season of life.
Thank you to everyone who was part of the Heartland journey. It truly meant more than you know.
