Your Pine Belt Pirates, defending league champions baseball team, have released our tryout schedule. We invite talented players to participate in the tryouts and join our team. Your Pine Belt Pirates are the 2025 MHBA League Champions! The Pirates ended the regular season with a record of 13-6-1 entering the playoffs with the number two seed. Your Pirates travel to Meridian to face off against the Jackson Twins in the first round beating the Twins 7-6. Advancing to the Championship game to face off against the number one seed Meridian Benchwarmers .

The Meridian Benchwarmers were not able to round up enough players in time ultimately having to forfeit making your Pirates the 2025 League Champions; with a final record of 15-6-1. Its a very unfortunate way to claim the 2025 title. Nonetheless all teams involved knew when and where we all chose to play-ball. Just goes to show with your Pirates it just means more!

The Pirates suffer a late-season blow as the rematch with the Jackson Twins ends 4-3 in the team's first loss series of the season. The Pirates still showed themselves to be dangerous with only seven players, keeping both games close. The Pirates fell in game one due to errors despite the late push to make a comeback.

Game two concluded halfway through with a final score of 5-3 in favor of the Jackson Twins due to heat and lack of manpower. This group showed tremendous resilience today, playing only two outfielders and players out-of-position. The Pirates will be back in action on August 10th against the number one seed, the Meridian Benchwarmers.

Good morning crew! Your Pine Belt Pirates will be traveling to Jackson, MS, to face off against the Twins. Root for your Pirates as they look to hold onto the first-place slot in the final stretch of the season!

Your Pine Belt Pirates came out and dropped the anchor today against the Yard Goats putting up a whopping 18 runs to their 6. Centerfielder Chandler Jones and second baseman Clinton Roux led the charge for the Pirates in game one with Roux having the hot bat while Jones made sure there was a no fly zone!

Game two your Pirates didn’t slow up as Kaleb Hodge hit not one, but two bombs on the Yard Goats. Hodge has three home runs In his last three games. Left fielder Isaish Speights left it all on the field as he to made sure there was a no fly zone. Pirates cruise to a 12-1 win with multiple players missing. These scurvy dogs will be back in action again on July 27th against the Twins.
