This day hits home differently for so many across the country. Pride, Pain, Freedom, Sorrow, Strife, Dedication, Hard Work, Achievement. That never ending feeling that we still have so much work left to do. Some of us feel a handful of these emotions while others bare down on the remaining. We all fight for our country and the pride in our homes in different ways. If there is one thing to remember in it all… We are all fighting for . in this place we call home.

I found her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

That beautiful soul that got lost on the journey to success. She must have hit a fork in the road and ended up on an alternate path that, at first, seemed like an exciting adventure. This dreamy path was not quite what it seemed, as it was illuminated with artificial lights and tolls requiring payment of self-identity and confidence be given out as gifts to pay for passage to all whose paths she crossed. Suddenly she realized she had given away all the pieces of her soul that once lit the way to a life of happiness and content.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
