What is Learn to Skate USA?
• Learn to Skate USA is the only ice skating program endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, US Speedskating, and the Special Olympics.
• More than 120,000 skaters of all ages and abilities are part of Learn to Skate USA.
• Learn to Skate USA was developed to teach children and adults the fundamentals of ice skating.
• It is available through more than 1,000 programs throughout the United States, and regardless of where a skater participates, the structured curriculum ensures a standard and consistent experience.
• Learn to Skate USA’s progressive curriculum allows skaters of all ages and abilities to progress at their own rates and advance after skill mastery is demonstrated.
• Learn to Skate USA offers programs for skaters who have yet to step on the ice and those who are at a place to go into specialized areas of skating. Specialized curriculums include: hockey, speed skating, synchronized skating, ice dance, pairs, adult, Theatre On Ice, therapeutic recreational.
