According to Gaza's Health Ministry, at least 17,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 46,000 wounded in Israel's air and ground campaign. It came in response to the surprise Oct. 7 attack by Hamas militants on southern Israel, which killed about 1,200 people.
War is always deadly and the political reasons for war take a back seat when the death toll begins to rise.
Some pray for the Israelis, while others pray for the Palestinians.
I pray for a few of my former student Athletes, who are there in the fight standing with Israel. I pray that when the dust settles that they are still alive and in tact. These are Jewish American young adults who are willing to die for their people. It’s real and it’s personal.
Pray for someone, pray for peace. Gods will be done.
