Holly Park Minor & Major Registrants,

In-Person Registration Payments & Tryouts Saturday February 26th @ 11-1pm Holly Park

ALL PLAYERS 8-13yrs (Minor & Major Player Pitch Levels ONLY) MUST ATTEND THE TRYOUTS.

Check-in begins promptly at 11am, followed by warm-ups at 11:45am.
Please note all the following information:
– Wear cleats
– Bring a bat, glove, and a helmet
– Players should arrive 30min prior to run and stretch before they tryout
– Each session will last roughly 10 minutes per player
– A parent should attend and stay

Remind your child to relax and have fun during the evaluations. The coaches aren’t worried about results. Tryouts typically follow a structure similar to the items listed below, so please review information with your child to help them feel more comfortable:

– Check-In and receive number to place on shirt
– Run 60 ft. touch a cone and run back (total 120 ft.)
– Take 3 pop-ups from coach
– Take 3 ground balls from coach
– Bunt 1 pitch and then take 6 swings
– We will allow players to Pitch if there is time

Again, tryouts are how we decide where your child should be placed. Our coaches and board members share information from previous seasons to put children in the best possible place to have success.

TODAY is Opening Day. Please see instructions below by division.

Tee Ball Division – 10:30am
Opening Day Ceremony for Tee Ball will start promptly at 10:30am on Field 2 (middle field). Please arrive at 10:15am for temperature check. Game will follow immediately after the ceremony.

Rookie Division - 12pm
Opening Day Ceremony for Rookie will start promptly at 12pm on Field 2 (middle field). Please arrive at 11:45am for temperature check. Game will follow immediately after the ceremony.

Minor & Major Division - 2pm
Opening Day Ceremony for Minor and Major will start promptly at 2pm on Field 2 (middle field). Please arrive at 1:45pm for temperature check. Game will follow immediately after the ceremony.

For Opening day ceremony, parents may sit in the stands and stand along the fence social distancing themselves. Players will stand with their coaches in the outfield. HPLL is asking that one parent/guardian attend Opening Day ceremonies and first day of games to minimize park occupancy. After the ceremony, please disperse to the appropriate field for your game. If your team is not scheduled to play on Saturday, please leave the park for the remainder of the day.
