As another NBA player is implicated in point-shaving, we're reminded of the 1951 point shaving scandal that reshaped pro basketball 75 years ago. In it's aftermath, The Eastern Basketball League became the landing place for a generation of great players banned from the NBA, including Sherman White, Jack Molinas, and Bill Spivey. Our film, Boxed Out, explores that episode and how it elevated the Eastern League's talent level and stature in the basketball world.
