Tug has seen miles and miles of trails in all kinds of country. Absolutely one of the gentlest geldings we have owned. He has spent this summer riding on the steep mountain terrain in the Idaho Salmon River country. He is in Arizona this fall riding in the desert and on the narrow trails of the Prescott National Forest with many different riders. Tug is a pleasure to ride anywhere; across the Continental Divide or just down to the mailbox. Tug is accustomed to traffic, barking dogs, wildlife, mountain trails, rocky desert trails, bridges, brush and cactus. He is the one we trust to carry our friends from town and riders of all ability levels. Everyone he meets loves his friendly personality, stout build and pretty color. Tug will be tuning up in the arena until sale time getting ready for the sale preview and trail competition.

Flare is one stunning gelding I am excited to offer. He is a very solid minded gelding that is bred right and has the potential to complete any task you put in front of him with his athletic ability and classy personality. Flare was started in a reigner program and has a smooth lope, great turn around, with a big fancy stop. He is super easy to rope on outside and green on the heel side with the potential to be the best. Flare would make an exceptional all around horse in the Ranch versatility, Ranch riding, Roping and Cow horse with his unlimited ability. He has plenty of experience outside on the ranch and will put in a days work without asking. Flare is one that the ranch owner would be happy to swing a leg over day after day. He has tons of natural cow and is my personal favorite to cut and sort on. Take him to a team penning tomorrow and you will be confident to win. Flare will drag anything you dally on to and isn’t afraid to use his athletic abilities to help him. Weather the task is walking down the trail or pushing cows, any one would look good on him.

Hatchet Jack has done all the ranch jobs and done a few gymkhana events in the arena as well. He has a good attitude and is willing to do whatever is asked of him. Rio is 12 years old and with a little help from Mom and Dad has put a nice foundation on Hatchet Jack. He is very laid back and rides out alone without any issues. Coolwhip is a super nice young horse with a lot of experience for his age. He is fancy to look at with 4 matching socks, great conformation, and gorgeous red roan color. He has been used outside, travels well with a smooth easy to ride stride, crosses water, downfall, thick brush and anything else you point him towards. Coolwhip has worked cattle, sorted, loaded trucks, opens gates and is easy to use in all aspects. He also rides very well in the arena with a smooth, low headed way of going, nice stop, fancy turnaround and very quiet minded. Coolwhip hasn’t had mistakes made and has experienced a lot of life for his age. If you’re looking for a young horse to keep for a lifetime Coolwhip might be just what you’re looking for. I got Margret in the fall of 2019 then in the spring of 2020 I was working on the border of Arizona and Utah on a cow-calf outfit where we would sometimes gather wild cattle as well. It was steep rocky terrain with river bottoms where we would gather to ship to the summer permit. From there I headed out to day work for various outfits in Arizona, Nevada and Utah helping with gatherings, branding, sorting and shipping whatever the owners would need. Last winter she spent in a feedlot in Idaho where we would do daily tasks of riding pens looking for sick cattle, sorted pens and shipped out fat cattle. This summer she has been on a yearling outfit in southern Wyoming. She has been used to receive, gather, ride health, rope and doctor yearlings with a crew and also by herself. She has seen a lot of different terrain in many different states. She has been a great asset to my string. You can leave her off for a good amount of time and grab her and go to work. Margret has also competed in a couple of ranch rodeos. I really enjoyed getting to take her to town. Margret is good to shoe, good to catch, she is just a nice gal to have around.

Flash is a nice looking gelding with a nice big hip and a pretty head that we bred and raised. He’s been used extensively in the mountains the last two falls in our outfitting business. He’s been up and down the trails, leading pack strings, guiding hunters and packing about everything one can pack. He’s seen a ton of miles off the trail as well and experienced all the back country has to offer. We’ve used him roping cattle, moving cattle and doing all the ranch chores. His sire is 26 and Flash is one of the last geldings we have from him. He shoes easily, loads, hauls and clips with out issue. He’s kind and friendly.

A super broke young gelding ready for the career of your choosing! “Badger” is a 4 year old 15.2 hand buckskin gelding. If his color doesn’t turn heads- his training will! This guy is true one hand broke, he is the definition of “fancy” with lots of buttons & cool moves. He is soft, supple and rides very correct. He was started in great hands who have molded him into a confident & willing equine partner. If you can hold the reins you can ride him, he is dog gentle. Badger has dabbled in a bit of everything from day working on the ranch to ponying racehorses at the track to leisurely Sunday trail rides.
