Today several members of the Henderson Fishing Team joined Mrs. Fontineau’s classes at Lake Forest Park for a fishing field trip.

New friends were made and fun times were had for everyone involved.

STATEMENT FROM ULTIMATE FISHING

This is clarification on the fishing for this weekend.

Yes, they can fish this Friday and Saturday. It goes off limits midnight this Saturday night and they can’t finish anymore until the tournament starts next Saturday morning.

If you missed the new angler meeting that was held tonight and are still interested in joining, please watch our page and attend the next meeting. It’s not to late to join an exciting way to support your school through fishing.

This will be the first annual boil at the Expo Center from 2pm-10pm on May 9, 2026. Live band, kid activities, auction items, and a crawfish boil off. TAKE YOUR MOM!!! The Henderson ISD Fishing Team is blessed to have the family of this beautiful little girl be a part of our organization.

4D Fishing will also be on location selling and demonstrating bait making as well as other vendors.

📢📢 Do you have a kid that wants to be a Lion Angler for the Henderson ISD Fishing Team 2026-2027? 🎣🎣

We will have a specific meeting for those new anglers that wish to join the exciting world of tournament bass fishing on May 6, 2026 at 6 pm at the Henderson Middle School.

Requirements to join:
Grades 7-12

Must have a boat or have someone that is willing to provide a boat

Fish as a SOLO or as a TEAM OF 2

Must have an adult boat captain to operate the boat during tournaments

Fees and fundraising will be discussed at meeting

If interested, please come to the meeting to have your questions answered.
