Last night, the High School Boys Spartans celebrated the 2026 season at The Rudder at Anchor High Marina. A huge thank you to all the parents who planned, organized, and worked so hard to make the night special for the guys.

We had one last chance to celebrate an incredible senior class and reflect on a memorable season. The coaching staff also handed out their season awards.

This year, the Spartans Board decided to honor one of the most impactful members of our lacrosse community by creating the Greg Mitchell Leadership Award.

Each year, this award will recognize a special group of individuals who go above and beyond—leading by example, serving others, and representing our club in every way both on and off the field.

This inaugural group made an incredible impact on our club this year in so many ways. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment have helped shape the culture of Spartans Lacrosse, and we are proud to recognize them as the first recipients of the Greg Mitchell Leadership Award.

Congrats to Connor Phillips, Liam Sporin, Hawkeye Kauffman, Hayden Latham, and Will Whiteley.

Senior Day for High School Boys! Thank you Class of 2026!

Saturday marked the close of the first-ever Sumner Cup for High School Girls and what a way to finish! Red vs. White absolutely did not disappoint! 🥍

We’re excited to announce the 2026 Sumner Cup Tournament Award Winners:

🏆 Tournament MVP: Anna “Brickwall” Brown — an incredible 50 saves in the tournament!
❤️ Red Team MVP: Carolynn Roundy — led the tournament in scoring!
🤍 White Team MVP: Harmony Bessling — lockdown defense and clutch goal scoring when it mattered most!
⭐ Honorable Mention: Brooklyn Sarkisian — stepped up HUGE in the championship game with some crazy goal scoring!

Thank you to all the players, coaches, and families for making this event fun. The future of girls lacrosse in Sumner County is bright, and we can’t wait to see what Year 2 brings!

Last night marked the final Middle School Boys game of the 2026 season.

This group experienced a lot of FIRSTS this year: first time playing lacrosse, first time coaching lacrosse, first time playing a new position, and first time making the trip from Hendersonville to Thompson Station for a 6:00 start on a school day. You all did an amazing job navigating all these firsts. I can’t wait to watch what happens next.

To our 8th graders and your families, THANK YOU for stepping up and leading by example. Your experience, leadership, and support helped make the transition so much easier for so many.
