CERT Registration CERT Training is offered free of charge. Participants have no obligation or commitment to respond or act in the event of a disaster. The class curriculum for the training program consists of the following:

Emergency safety drills were held at View and Valley today. This week might be a good time to have one at home too...

Search and rescue training at the Emergency Operations Control Center. Instructor Jake Armendariz, L.A. County Fire Department.

Hi HbCERT Volunteers,

We are a couple of days away from Fiesta Hermosa and I still need volunteers as there are a variety of unfilled shifts. If you are unable to do the entire shift but still want to volunteer, please let me know what times work best for you and I will try to accommodate your availability.

Saturday, May 26 1000-1400 or 1400-1800 need one volunteer for each shift.
Sunday, May 27 1000-1400 or 1400-1800 there are no volunteers signed up for this day.
Monday, May 28 1400-1800 need one volunteer.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you can volunteer.
