Set yourself up for success and have it be “Top of the Mind”
That was what my old boss used to say. If you weren’t thinking about it or guiding yourself to make changes you probably weren’t going to do it. That’s probably why I didn’t make a lot of my sale quotas 😬😬
Think of ONE 5 minute action that you can consistently do to help get you started. These actions don’t have to be grandiose events. Keep it short and easy to follow through on.
Here are a few to help you brainstorm:
📍If you’re like me and you way spend too much time on your phone during training sessions, take a few minutes to write your workout down on a piece of paper or whiteboard and leave your phone in your gym bag or locker.
📍Trouble getting up and motivated to workout in the mornings? Wear your workout clothes to sleep the night before 😴
📍Actually put in events and alarms in your phone or calendar for workout days and prep days, even if you think you’ll remember ⏰
📍Keep more processed snack foods up in the back cupboards behind other foods. If it’s on your counter or table, most likely you’re going to eat it. 😏🍫🥜🍪🍬
