Big news from RECS Pickleball!
Repost from their newsletter:
“Two new RECS locations coming this fall!
Corvallis – We've wanted to open a RECS location in the valley for quite some time, and are thrilled to be joining the Corvallis community. The ownership group of Corvallis Sports Park, including GM Blake Leamy, chose us over other suitors because of our commitment to honor the legacy of Corvallis Sports Park as a “3rd Place” for people to recreate, exercise, compete, and socialize. The club will have seven dedicated indoor pickleball courts. We plan to open in October of this year.
Camas - Evergreen Tennis owners Caryn and Clark Vitek spent over a decade building a passionate tennis community. We're honored to continue that tradition through racquet sports, with nine dedicated pickleball courts. (We are also planning to introduce a new racquet sport taking off called "typti." It's more like tennis than pickleball, but played on a pickleball court). We are shooting for a soft launch before the end of August.
Both new clubs mean more jobs, more members, and more "analog connectivity” - the joyful experience of playing addictive games and sports with friends and family.”
