It will be Mason’s first night in the new ride!

Tonight we’re back in action at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park for Veterans Night! 🇺🇸 Get ready for a HOT night of Saturday night racing in Pevely!

⚠️ REMINDER — UPDATED TIMES DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT:
👉 Pits Open: 5:00 PM
👉 Grandstands Open: 6:30 PM
👉 Racing Starts: 8:00 PM

Out with the old and in with the “new”!!

We want to say a huge thank you to Rob Neubauer at ###treme Fabrication!!!

We took the car to the shop on Thursday 7/30 with the expectation that we would do some modifications to update our original chassis. After going over everything that we wanted/needed to do, Rob advised that we find a newer chassis and swap all our stuff over. I (dad) was skeptical at first but Rob knows a lot more about these cars than I do. So, we found a good deal on a 2015 Phoenix and went to pick it up Saturday morning. In a weeks time we now have this awesome “new” car and can’t wait to hit the track with it!!

Every week, there is an ###treme Fabrication car competing for top spots in other classes and Mason hopes to do the same with this car in the Kids Mod class. He learns more and more everytime he straps in!

**Race Recap**

We had a LOT of cautions and Mason was involved in 3 of them. Mason ran 3rd for most of the race but got in the back of the second place car on a restart and they both had to go to the back. This ended up being really bad timing because there was only 1 lap left to try getting back to the front. We ended up with 5th place and another torn up front bumper😂.

Mason had a great heat race!! He started in 2nd out of 5 cars and finished there. However, he spun out with 4 laps to go and had to work his way up to get his spot back. Definitely the cleanest and most versatile driving we’ve seen out of him so far!!

We’re looking forward to the 20 lap feature Doe Run Raceway!!
