Why I make vids? There are many reasons, however one of my favorites are the kids. They like to feel included too even though some are too young to play yet. Being able to make a bit of magic for them and turn imagination into something special is fulfulling. Last weekend, we were able to tap into and utilize the national ranks of the Valken Corps program and wrangle up the largest registered force at First Strike Paintball/Pull Pin Productions' Halo: Redoux 2-Day Scenario event. Players from regions including the & ganged up and not only helped secure the Spartan Blue team's second consecutive Halo victory but also took The Breakout Team and MVT (KSU) awards which will represent for the respective regions of the Valken Corps. Event video will be up on the YouTube soon. Thank you to all the players that traveled over a collective 20,000 miles to do to have, as one attending nay-sayer chirped, "zero effect" on anything that happens in their region. ;) If that means winning, promoting, empowering, and making a difference to family-owned businesses and fields by actions instead of words.... we shall have to look into implementing this "we have zero effect" program into more of what we do moving forward. special thanks to the management, staff, producers and command of this event and as always, Valken Sports for providing paint that we can trust to not ruin a weekend of and be one of the deciding factors in travelling such a distance to an event.
