The weekend wrapped up the best way possible—with an epic night on the water for lifelong friends Joe, Gary, Walt, and Randy. We pivoted the schedule to beat the waves, slid out for an evening run, and it paid off. A few got away, a few hit the net, and a few were sent back to Lake Michigan to grow even bigger for next time. Calm seas, great company, and one of those nights you don’t forget.

Always a great time on the water with this awesome crew from Ohio. We waited out those 4–6 ft waves yesterday morning, stuck it out, and were rewarded with a beautiful evening on the lake. Huge moment watching 12 year old Dakota land his first big Lake Michigan salmon—nothing better than seeing that fish hit the net 🎣🐟. We mixed in a few smaller fish too and sent them back to grow up for future years. Thanks for coming out Ty, Jimmy, Ethan, Robin, and Dakota. Can’t wait to have you all back on board for the next adventure!
