Your race results have been verified, have been sent to your emails and are now posted at the top two links found here: https://linktr.ee/rundepot . We sincerely apologize for the timing issues on Sunday, which caused the delayed results. It took a bit of time to review all the photos and video to confirm finish times, but we feel this was necessary to make sure everyone was awarded fairly.🙌
For those who are unaware, someone pushed through the barricades around the timing tent and tripped over the timing wires, which disconnected everything. This was immediately recognized and plugged back in, but several runners had crossed the finish line during this time and their times were not recorded. It would not have been fair to these runners to leave them out of the results.
Barricades and cones are put in place for a reason. We used great care to make sure it was clear to avoid the timing area. But sometimes, despite all the efforts and care to make sure things are protected and secure, one individual chooses to not follow the rules, thereby creating problems for everyone else. This individual owes everyone an apology.
We want to make sure that all of the Top Finishers receive their trophies. These are available for you to pick up at Runner’s Depot, 2233 S University Dr, Davie FL 33324. If another Runner’s Depot store is closer for you, please contact us so we can transfer your trophy to that store. If you are unable to pick up your trophy, please let us know, and we will make sure it is delivered to you.🏆
