Had a great visit with Kern yesterday. He was alert and happy. He gets frustrated when he cannot express himself. He was happy when we looked through pictures. If anyone has pictures of to share of him or even yourselves please take it when you visit or share here. He is scheduled to leave the Villas in a week or two. He is working hard with therapists and making progress. I told him we are all cheering for him so don’t ever give up. We will be getting a way to donate, possibly go fund me or Venmo type collection. If you would like to donate right away, you may send PayPal to Christopher Young. He is a good friend and McKinley grad. He is retired AG and prosecutor. His PayPal is cdwyoung. Please make sure to leave your contact info and how you know Kern.

Our dear classmate Kern Nishioka has suffered a stroke last month. His volleyball friends have organized a fundraiser. Please do your best to support him if you can. Spread the word to all so we can show Tiger support. Tanji can be contacted via facebook for more information.
Not sure how to stop all of these people posting about ordering tshirts. I have hidden a lot of them, but some may still be up. These are scams. Do not click any links.

We are not soliciting anyone to buy t-shirts. If you would like to purchase anything that benefits the school, please contact the school directly.
Thank you,
Class of 1981 Reunion committee
