RPS is a surfboard cutting service in Honolulu, HI which has the latest version of the Aku Shaper Shaping Machine. The Aku Shaping Machine is a CNC cutter that can cut many different designs of short boards, retros, guns, longboards, and stand up paddle boards up to 12' long and 33" wide. The AKU Shaper's unique cutter design allows it to wrap around the blank, cutting damn near perfect rails that

require minimal work to finish. The latest design features the newly introduced Automated Actuators that produce extremely accurate rockers and thickness without comprising speed. It also cuts in the reverse direction for clean cutting on EPS and PU foam and more symmetrical cutting on all boards.
