💙 What’s your favorite part about being at the Y?
“My favorite part about being at the Y is seeing the members and kids find a home and place where they can come and be themselves and further build a community. Like I’ve had the opportunity to do.”

💪📚 Favorite hobby outside of work?
“My favorite hobby outside of work is working out and reading.”

✨ Favorite member moment or memory?
“My favorite member memory involves volunteering at the Square at Everlee with our Y Leaders program. Watching our volunteers interact with the community during the holiday season and help bring those families cheer and joy was everything.”

Our Project Supervisors are very excited that renovations have officially started on the inside playground area! 👷‍♂️🎉💙

We can’t wait to watch this project come together and create an even better space for the children and families in our community.

Tonight, we came together to celebrate Robyn and the incredible impact she has made on the Hoover YMCA community. 💙✨

Throughout her time leading our Group Exercise programs, Robyn has helped shape the Hoover YMCA into what it is today. Her passion, leadership, encouragement, and care for others have impacted countless members and staff over the years. Beyond the classes she taught, Robyn built meaningful relationships, created a welcoming community, and helped so many people feel confident, supported, and connected at the Y.

While Robyn is stepping down from her leadership role, we are so excited that she will continue teaching classes—so you will still see her around the Hoover YMCA! 💪🎉

Thank you, Robyn, for everything you have poured into this branch and the people who walk through our doors each day. Your impact will continue to be felt for years to come. 💙

Our M@M group recently had the opportunity to attend a local women’s self-care and wellness event 💙✨

The group enjoyed lunch together, had meaningful conversations about wellness and taking care of ourselves, and participated in fun skincare activities. Most importantly, it was a chance to relax, connect, encourage one another, and spend time building community with other women.
