Malachi is a dedicated coach and player developer with deep roots in the north Alabama soccer community. As the Director of the Boys Program, he brings both high-level experience as a player and a commitment to developing players through every stage of their journey.
Playing across multiple clubs in north Alabama, Malachi has also competed with Alabama ODP and represented his region internationallyโexperience that helps him understand what it takes to grow, perform, and develop.
In coaching, Malachi has supported the Alabama ODP Program as an assistant and Goalkeeper coach. He has also worked as a goalkeeper coach and served as a head coach for local soccer clubs. Holding his USSF C License, he focuses on building confidence, strengthening technical skills, and developing strong game understanding through structured, positive training environments.
Malachi is excited to lead the boysโ program, create a thriving culture, and help each player reach their full potential on and off the field.

Moises Roman is a dedicated coach and player developer serving as Girls Coordinator for Barรงa Academy Hoover. With 10+ years of coaching experience across youth, high school, and collegiate levels, he has worked with players from grassroots to U23.
He holds a USSF D License and multiple certifications, and is known for a patient, detail-oriented approach that builds confidence. His philosophy focuses on technical development, game understanding, and creating structured, positive environments.
Moises brings strong ties to the Hoover soccer community and is excited to grow the girlsโ program while helping each player reach their full potential on and off the field.
