✨ Back pain doesn’t look the same for everyone. ✨

For some, core work alone makes a difference. But more often, the solution is multifaceted.

Meet Jen

Fitness and nutrition came onto my radar when I gained the Freshman 15 my first year of college...Okay, okay, it was more like the Freshman 40. (I somehow managed this feat while playing Div I soccer!) I hit the gym to try to lose the weight, spending hours and hours getting very little results. When I enrolled in my university’s Health and Exercise Science class, everything finally clicked. I learned the importance of both cardio and lifting for weight loss, and how to eat right. The weight started melting off and I never looked back.

Fast forward to now: I’m a 40 year-old mom of two VERY busy (and loud!) elementary school boys and wife to an amazing husband (a.k.a. my third boy). I was a trainer in Houston, TX, before deciding to take some time off to start our family. In the meantime, I continued teaching group exercise classes, worked on bigger and better personal training and nutrition certifications, and made a couple of moves until we landed here in Calgary. As the years have passed, fitness has become more than just about physical appearance. It has helped me to keep up with my very active family, never having to say “no” to a hike or a bike ride or swinging from the monkey bars. And it has helped me maintain my sanity, to keep a level head when my household is spiralling into chaos. (Who hasn’t been there?!) Taking time out to work on me has meant my kids have a healthier, happier mom.

I’m beyond excited to reboot my business here in Calgary, helping others to reclaim their bodies through physical fitness. My goal is to help people live their best lives both physically and mentally.
