Heartfelt congratulations to our successful yudansha candidates. Mario Lopez earned his 2nd Dan, and Andy Nguyen his 3rd Dan. Both gave spirited and technical test performances despite the Texas summer heat. Our Dojo-Cho, Carol Harkness was unable to test due to a recent injury, but received a well-deserved promotion to 4th Dan by recommendation.
Congratulations to you all!

A wonderful surprise on Saturday, when Weldon Mauney Sensei popped in to our Open Mat training. You just never know what's going to happen at one of our practices, but one things' for certain - it's never boring!
04/25/2023
Join us each Saturday from 11am- 12:30 pm for our new adult Open Mat sessions. Every Open Mat sessions is supervised by two of our senior instructors and is a dedicated time where students can focus on areas of Aikido they want to work on.
This is the ideal time to brush up on weapons work, practice advanced ukemi, or specific techniques, prepare for a grading, or just pop in to see what is going on. Unlike formal classes you can arrive and leave at any point during the session making it even more convenient to start the weekend off on an Aikido high.
We hope to see you on the mat this Saturday!
