🏁🏁About last night🏁🏁

This weekend at SSR Motorsports Park was a stressful, eventful and all around good time! We met some great families and Jason Jr made some new friends.
We had a battery issue as he was getting ready to qualify, so Jason Sr ran and bought a new one. Pop got it put in just in time to go single car qualify! He ran a heat race for the first time and finished P4. Started P8 out of 10 cars in the main, kissed the wall coming out of 4 and did an amazing job by not over correcting. He kept the car going and ended the night taking the checkers P6 overall and we’re pretty sure he took P2 for the Bandit class (all classes run together).
There were a lot of firsts for him and the team. This weekend was a learning experience for everyone. Jason Jr showed what a great driver he is by figuring that track out with only 28 laps around it by the time he took the green for the main! We are so proud of him!
Pop, Dad and Mason busted their butts this weekend in that hot Alabama sun to give him the best car possible.

Next race for the 118 Bando is June 13th at HMP Oval Track. Come on out and say hi and watch some great short track racing! And don’t forget $1 beer and $1 hot dogs!

It’s raceday here at SSR Motorsports Park! Laser focused for tonight! Let’s do this Deuce!

Jason Jr started the main P2 and battled with another car for 1st place throughout the race. He crossed the line P1 in yet another photo finish! This kid gets better every time he gets in the car! We can not be any more proud of him!

Next race will be May 16th at SSR Motorsports Park in Grand Bay Alabama!

Next HMP Oval Track race will be June 13th!
