Alton Charles Jackson, age 43, was sentenced to 45 years by a Harris County judge after being convicted of trafficking of a child.
Although the defendant did not appear in court for sentencing, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The Fugitive Apprehension Unit, along with our partners the Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force, using cell phone data, were able to locate him in California where he is currently being detained and awaiting extradition back to Harris County for sentencing.
We are grateful to all our law enforcement partners including – the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshal’s Office, and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, for working together on finding this trafficker and bringing him to justice.
