Celebrating Linda Pemberton Robinson Oklahoma City, OK — Sun & Ski Sports ☀️

After an incredible 48 years of dedication, service, and leadership, we are proud to announce the retirement of Linda Robinson.

Linda joined the company in January 1978 when our founder, Barry Goldware, was operating under the Tennis Warehouse partnership. Through decades of growth and change, she remained a steady, trusted, and familiar presence for both customers and teammates alike.

Based in Oklahoma City, Linda was part of the company through many important milestones, including Barry’s acquisition of Ski Haus in 1984 and Ski Chalet in 1992. She also played a meaningful role during the 1995 store merger, helping shape the foundation of what Sun & Ski Sports has become today.

For many years, Linda served as Assistant Manager of the Oklahoma City store, where she became known for her kindness, dedication, leadership, and unwavering support of her team. She was also the longtime voice of our Oklahoma stores on the radio — so much so that many customers believed she was the owner herself.

Her loyalty, warmth, and years of experience have left a lasting impression on countless employees and customers throughout her career. Very few people have the opportunity to dedicate nearly five decades to one company, and Linda’s legacy is one that will always be remembered and appreciated.

Please join us in congratulating Linda on her retirement and wishing her all the best in this exciting new chapter. From all of us here at Sun & Ski Sports — thank you, Linda, for 48 amazing years of hard work, heart, and the lasting impact you’ve made on so many people. ❤️
