In the early 2000s, if you walked into a gym, a schoolyard, or even a mall, chances are you’d see a kid in a headband, oversized jersey, and braids — trying to be Allen Iverson. On the court, he was electric. At barely six feet tall, he went toe-to-toe with giants and made it look effortless. His crossover was poetry in motion. His fearlessness was contagious.
