Due to the ditches and drainage being worked on over the next few months, Members and residents may have a difficult time reaching the marina and or may experience long wait times getting to and from. We apologize for any inconveniences, but it is out of our hands or control.

Thank You,
DPCC

Civic club members and residents... Please do not be afraid or disturbed by current ongoings at the marina. The Civic Club does have the entire shoreline as well as all the anchorage space, on top of the pavilion. If anybody cuts our gate down or threatens access to our members or residents we will put a gate across the boat ramp because the easement ends at the shoreline and does not extend into the water or the boat ramp...... Our members and residents will always be welcome to use the boat ramp.... However if we have to we will take drastic measures to ensure that our residents and members will always be able to use the boat ramp.

Hi folks! Just wanted to give you all a quick update. As many of you may have noticed, we have been shutting the gate at night. We began doing this at the request of Ms.Tubbs and other residents due to the constant noise and late night traffic down there. Ms. Tubbs is almost 88 years old, and people having been going down there firing weapons, fighting, doing donuts, leaving loaded drug needles, vandalizing, being excessively loud, and even knocking on Ms. Tubbs door at 2am, all when the gate was OPEN.
As members and residents well know, the gate is not locked and it does not restrict anyone's access.
We have spoken to many Residents and Members that were quietly enjoying the property or fishing late at night, and they have had no issue with this.
As such, we have again spoken with Ms. Tubbs today, she has asked that we continue shutting the gate as requested previously and so we will continue to shut it specifically on the weekend nights, and as often as possible for the safety of our entire community.

Thank You!
DPCC

PS...
We will be posting a more detailed post about ongoings and happenings soon. Hope everyone has a great week!

Hello all! On behalf of the residents in Dunnam Rd... PLEASE do NOT come down to check out the marina. It is underwater. Not much to see but water. But when you drive down there...even those that are polite enough not to do so quickly, the movement causes wakes that affect the homes down there that are already battling high water mishaps. Thank you for understanding.

Good morning everyone! The 2020/21 Dunnam Place Civic Club memberships will start selling on September 1st! Price is $200 for the year. Seniors, disabled get discounts.

If you have been following the page... Please make sure you are getting our membership... The one called the Poteet's Neighborhood Club is NOT authorized by the owner of this private property to exist or take money from you! DPCC is the ONLY organization to have permission to control access and maintain the parkway and has been doing so since 1965! Since the owners admission to the hospital and inability to communicate with us, this person has decided it was prime time to move in and basically take over the parkway. This is ILLEGAL and we ate taking steps to deal with this invasion!

Thank you for your patience and loyalty as we move forward.

I am getting phone calls in reference to the newly formed club posted down near the marina. DO NOT give this club money! This is the same group guilty of posting notices with false statements that have repeatedly been removed.

The Dunnam Place Civic Club Inc. Is the ONLY organization that has legally maintained and controlled access to the parkway since 1966! What this person is doing is ILLEGAL. They DO NOT have the owners permission to base a new club there, to control access to the area, to sell memberships or take your money in any way or fashion! The person doing this is STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. If you are currently a member... Please feel free to contact me for more details.

We are in process of taking care of this invasion, please do spread the word. Contact myself or any other member of the board. The board is consisted of President Angie Bobo, VP Jason Glascox, Treasurer/Secretary myself, Tresa Frazier, and the following Directors Rob Smith, Diane Garcia, June Haynie, Danny Harris and Scott Baumgardner. You can contact any of the board members and they can give you the information you need. Feel free to call me anytime!

WOW....Imagine that!! Someone emailed me about a post saying what??!! What was that??!! That all the unauthorized, unapproved free passes (184 to count) in relation to the 92 lots on the street (including vacant lots and MY lot as well as others home addresses without THEIR permission) is causing A TRAFFIC JAM that is impeding members and residents from being able to launch their boats where they have paid for the use of the Parkway!!! Got news for all who are interested... The property owners DO NOT OWN THE PARKWAY!
