-Spring prices $30 per 15 minute private one on one lesson. Non-refundable deposit of $240 required to hold a time slot (deposit is applied for payment of the first 8 lessons taken)$50 One time per family non-refundable registration.

HOW I BECAME A SURVIVAL SWIM INSTRUCTOR

I just had to share this as it popped up on my memories recently. 

This is my daughter, Peyton, in the summer of 2012. Her photograph at the host pool for survival swim lessons brings back so many memories. I was having to face the reality that I would be raising her as a single mother. I was terrified because I knew she would be around water every time she was with her father.

For me, survival swim lessons were a priority.  It was hard as a mama.  The first several lessons I had to go inside the house and stand back from the windows. It was so difficult to hear her cry.

This is when I became interested in becoming a survival swim instructor.  But I unfortunately, let the IFs get in my way. IF I hada built in pool…IF the training wasn’t for six weeks AND out of state. 9 years later, when God eliminated these obstacles, I struggled with self doubt about whether I had what it took. I wondered if I could handle parents struggling to endure the tough side of this training.

But I have truly believe that God had a plan for me. And I’m so grateful that he even told me exactly what date to request where i met the most courageous mom who was taking an even greater leap just 49 weeks after her 2 year olds fatal drowning. I was haunted by the reality that 8 layers of protection failed that day. Jamie Corbett and her beloved Gunner drive me everyday to be the most loving but fierce advocate for child safety.

So proud of this mother for helping so many others through survival swim training through Float-First and with pool fencing installation covering Life Saver Pool Fence Southeast TX.

Gunner’s gift to me was the grit I needed to push through the tough training experiences. His memory continues to inspire the parents of my clients on their hardest days.

Not all survival swim programs are ISR.
