Explosion Lunges are one of my favorite exercises. Translates directly to speed and vertical ability. Slow eccentric movement > exploding concentric movement.

If you are looking to become more explosive, load weight on compound movements - like squats; or posterior chain movements like deadlifts. These exercises target large muscle groups - Glutes, hamstrings, etc.
Online workout & nutrition plans are available. In person training is also available.

2 EXERCISES THAT HELP ACHIEVE EXPLOSIVENESS*
The first movement is based on the concept of force production; loading up on weight a bit and keeping a consistently proper form.
The other movement focuses on the posterior chain; really engaging the glutes and hamstrings.

Sled runs are intense and arguably one of the best explosive exercises to incorporate in your weekly workouts. The results speak for itself.

I find it very significant that your training is specific to the sport & role/position that you play. is a point guard; having an explosive first step while dribbling the basketball - or specifically, coming from a move - is important.
