Wrapping up another fantastic weekend of kayak fishing. Net skills on point 💪 Thanks to everyone who fished with me that was a great run! Fishing is definitely heating up and I still have plenty of days available let’s go get em! 🎣

Morning grind only small fish and one keeper. Brutal. Switched up spots and the grind turned into an afternoon hammer fest. Rolled up at 2 pm and it was like the fish were waiting for us. Limit of reds in less than an hour then we played with em plenty released and finally got a break from the reds and managed a few others to fill the cooler. Brandons PB red quickly got upgraded but when the bite is this good we don’t stop for pictures. Thankful for another blessed day of fishing!

Yesterday couldn’t have gone any better. Somewhat new to kayak fishing, John came along to get a little help catching some fish using his new kayak. We got on ‘em quick and I watched him pull all of ‘em in ready to go with the net! PB’s and chunky fish can’t beat it. Thanks again John!

Quick and easy this morning. Hid from the wind and took advantage of a great early drum bite. Got out before that wind kicked into high gear. Sal and Samantha got it all done today. I just sat back and watched 😎 thanks again guys!!

It’s a good thing the only day the fish took a break from biting this weekend was a redfish tournament I fished solo and only caught big trout 🤣 🤣 it’s alright though, I’ll take the hit for my clients any day of the week. Friday Pat and I worked trying to get that trout limit, but just couldn’t get that third fish and decided it’s time to look for reds… as soon as we got the next spot - boom, double hookup! Luckily got those two before it all shut down. Saturday, just be glad you weren’t there with me 😂… but Sunday, it was like someone flipped a switch during that front. Birds working schools of redfish as far as Jerrardo and I could see. Didn’t take long before he got his limit and then we hid from the wind and played with the puppy drum. Wind was whipping all weekend, but I know how to play that game. Thanks Pat and Jerrardo!

Let’s get out and enjoy this beautiful weather before we’re praying for a breeze and a little sprinkle this summer! 🎣 🎣

Sometimes it’s a limit and sometimes you work hard and that one fish you need never shows up.. Either way we’re having a blast! 🎣

Reminiscing about the good ol’ days when fishing was easy… yeah last week was great 🤣

Slow morning yesterday, but David stuck with it. Wind was whipping and he was tired understandably. I convinced him to give me one more cast before heading in and what do you know - fish on! Couple nice reds taking home for the grill.

After a slow morning knowing it can’t stay like this - been too quiet for too long - I launched with Shane and Cason for the afternoon expecting a turnaround with the tide switching to incoming. Shane got one cookie cutter trout on dead shrimp…. If specks are hitting a dead shrimp you know something is off. Aside from that lost a good drag puller and a ton of small fish…
Sunrise to sunset, we pushed it hard yesterday and just wanted to say thanks for sticking with it - David, Shane, and Cason y’all are some troopers!!

Yesterday’s catching trip with Joel. The goal was to pack in as much variety as possible into this one. We did strike out on the trout early, but we quickly forgot they existed when we hit the drum holes. Holy cow.. it was 15 minute limits of red and drum at both spots. And we still had plenty of time left to fish. Left scratching our heads we decided to stay put and see what happens hoping for a flounder or maybe even a sheepshead (yeah right I never catch sheepshead 🤣).. What do ya know 5 minutes later Joel’s fighting a tank of a sheepie and i need to get the net. He caught another one and we called it a day. All I have to say is wow… Just a day where the game plan came together perfectly. Thanks for taking another trip with me Joel that was one for the books!!

I can’t say the past few trips were easy on us. Water levels came up and moved the fish around on us. Despite a tough bite, we didn’t give up and ended up with some decent bags. Learning how to find the fish using artificials, and even some lessons finding the drum using dead shrimp - a deep hole with moving water 🎯.

Still have some dates left in February, now booking for March. 🎣
