This is my fifth Houston Marathon. As always running the Houston Marathon is a life unforgettable experience. Since you step inside that big covered warehouse, everything seems to be especially prepared just for you but, in fact that is feeling for the 40 plus thousands runners every year. As for me this year, I can truly say it has been my best ever marathon, not only because I got PR, but also because I sensed a kind of happiness combined with a strong physical sensation from the beginning to the end. Touching every energy point when kids hold out their tiny little hands to motivate runners, enjoying the smiles of every volunteer in and off the route. All in all when I was crossing the finish line I raised my hands up thanking God for the privilege of been able to freely run, for the tiredness on my legs and thanking all the people that in one way or another helped me to be there crossing that line one more time.
