FundamentallyFit will be hosting the Hero Workout, Murph, at BOOM Fitness in honor of those who gave everything for our freedom 🇺🇸
Murph is traditionally:
🏃🏽♂️ 1 mile run
💪🏽 100 pull-ups
💪🏽 200 push-ups
💪🏽 300 squats
🏃🏽♂️ 1 mile run
Traditionally performed wearing a 20 # weighted vest and/or plate carrier.
But don’t let that intimidate you — this workout is for EVERYONE.
We’ll have options to scale, modify, or partner up so you can complete it at your level.
Whether you walk, modify movements, or split it with a friend — what matters most is showing up.

Wood County Sheriff’s Office SRT showed UP today 🔥
15 min AMRAP:
• 10 burpees
• 10 atlas lunges
• 12 push-up + taps
• 10 leg raises (side-middle-side)
Simple. Not easy 😅
Then finished with a squat hold finisher + partner carries—if one drops, everybody pays 💪🏼
No shortcuts. No coasting. Just work.
Y’all made this way too fun for how hard it was 😅
They WORKED worked today 💪🏼
Exactly the kind of grit you want in a team like this. 👊🏼

Memorial Day Murph 🇺🇸
‼️‼️LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!! ‼️‼️
Murph isn’t just a workout… it’s a reminder.
A reminder of sacrifice. Of grit. Of people who showed up for something bigger than themselves.
The workout is named after Michael P. Murphy—a Navy SEAL who gave his life for his team and his country. He didn’t quit. He didn’t back down. He led with courage until the very end.
We don’t do Murph because it’s “fun.”
We do it because we can.
Because we get to challenge our bodies, push through discomfort, and walk away when it’s over… something so many never had the chance to do.
We are not the heroes.
They are.
This is our way of honoring them—with effort, with sweat, with respect.
Run it. Walk it. Scale it. Partner it.
Just show up.

I just want to say how proud I am of my online clients right now.
Being on maternity leave, I didn’t know what to expect… but y’all have shown UP in the best way.
The messages, the check-ins, the “I didn’t feel like it but I did it anyway”… that’s what matters.
But what makes me the MOST proud?
You’re still doing the work no matter what.
You’re still showing up.
Still getting your workouts done.
Still choosing yourself—even on the hard days.
THAT is what builds results.
THAT is discipline.
It’s easy when I’m right there with you…
but the fact that you’re doing it on your own? That says everything.
I’m so excited to keep this rolling into next month.
We’re not starting over—we’re building momentum 🔥
And I promise you… it’s only up from here 💪🏼

Strength looks different in every season.
I’ve chased PRs.
I’ve lifted heavier.
I’ve trained through hard things.
But I’ve never felt stronger than I do right now.
Not because of the weight on the bar —
But because I’ve shown up for myself and my baby on the days my body felt heavy, tired, and stretched in every way.
Over the years, I’ve worked with so many moms.
Pregnant. Postpartum. Exhausted. Healing. Rebuilding.
They have inspired me more than they’ll ever know.
I’ve watched women train through nausea, sleepless nights, C-sections, diastasis, juggling the balance of motherhood and their career, and seasons where they barely recognized their own bodies.
And they still showed up.
Now I understand that strength in a whole new way.
Strength isn’t always loud.
It isn’t always a personal record.
It isn’t always pushing harder.
Sometimes it’s honoring your body.
Sometimes it’s slowing down.
Sometimes it’s choosing movement when it would be easier not to.
To every woman in every season — especially the moms — you are stronger than you think.
This season has taught me that true strength is resilience, consistency, and grace.
And that might be the most powerful kind of strength there is.

Alba-Golden understood the assignment today 👏🏼🔥
Career Day turned into a full-blown PLANK SHOWDOWN and these students did NOT come to play.
We crowned official 👑 Plank Queens & Plank Kings 👑 — and while I didn’t get everyone’s exact times, the longest hold was about 4 minutes and 30 seconds 😳💪
FOUR. THIRTY.
Core strength ✅
Mental toughness ✅
Bragging rights secured ✅
Safe to say the Alba-Golden future is strong 💥
