Sometimes you do your honorary, Veterans Day Hero WOD A Day early. 🤷🏻♀️ Sometimes you set the Time Cap for 1 hour. 🤷🏻♀️
Sometimes you call it quits at 41:00 minutes & 395 Reps 🤷🏻♀️
BC friendly reminder - it’s also about knowing your limits & making sure you don’t endure long-term knee damage, as a result of the workout.
Especially when you’re wanting to make sure you can still get on with a long, intensive running workout that you had planned for the upcoming morning!!

Let’s talk... Pre & Post workout [Re]fuel & hydration!!!
I’m a big believer in finding what works best for you & doing that! There’s no one prescription- for the masses!
That being said... Something I’ve openly struggled with in the past & have been playing around with lately: are my pre & post-workout nutrition & fuel sources!!
I think a lot of it also comes down to this...
•Are you a morning workout person or an afternoon/evening workout person?
•Is the workout focusing more on your cardio & aerobics capacity? Or is it more strength based?
Would love to hear any of your thoughts & any of your favorite pre &/or post-workout fuel sources!!

Thanks for the new shirt!! We’re loving it & it couldn’t describe us more accurately here at TRUEGrit Training.
Lol Truth Be Told... Cardio is Hardio... but it’s also necessito & one of the best things you can do for yourself if you’re looking to increase your aerobic capacity, stamina & endurance.

Happy Memorial Day, everybody!!
We here at TRUEGrit Training believe in honoring those that have served this & every Memorial Day & we like to pay our respects by participating in the classic “murph” workout challenge honoring the memory of Michael Murphy [a former Navy Seal] who died, serving our country in Afghanistan in 2005.
Pay your respects- are you up for the challenge?!?!?!
But then still get out there & enjoy your your Memorial Day!!! While remembering that: freedom isn’t free.
