Life is always twisting, and turning. 🛣️ So as its doing so, what do you do to still your mind when life gets rough?🤔 Further reiterated, what do you choose to quiet the mental chatter so you can reconnect with your higher self? ✨ I practice guided meditation, yoga, walks in nature, and breathing techniques when I'm stressed out. 🌄 All those things bring me back to my true nature. The answer is not outside of myself, or ourselves, it is always hidden somewhere within. 💠 Its my job, our job to find that answer, feel it, become at peace with it, and evolve from our findings. 🧿 So again, what do you do to soothe an over active mind. 😌

Day 8: When the going gets tough, the tough get going. How do you pick yourself up after being knocked down?
Be cautious of letting life's betrayals shrivel, and, close you up in fear of further pain. Pain is inevitable, so, expect it. Expect that you will in no doubt be challenged emotionally/physically/spiritually/intellectually.... More importantly expect to pick yourself back up again and come out more knowledgeable about yourself. Realign your idea of pain. Understand that pain is there to not make you feel like a loser. It's there to teach you something. If you choose to see it that way. You never loose, you either win, or you learn. Do you know what's just as infinite as pain/challenge? The power you hold in what decisions you choose next. ♥️
I suppose that's my first step...more so constructive defense. Always expecting/ understanding that life can change at any moment. Find certainty in uncertainty. Knowing there is a yin and yang concept all throughout life. ♥️ I won't front, I'm a cry baby when I'm knocked down time to time. I'd say foremost, I allow myself to feel/analyze my emotions. I dont deny my emotions, or, shove them in the dark. From there, I can find insecurity/internal cause of discord, and, thus a point to strengthen. My next habit is to speak about my conclusions with a good friend. Once I've analyzed and talked about my conclusions, I'm ready to get back out there, dried tears on my cheeks in all, plan of action in my hand. Pain, adversity, patience, mistakes, practice, and, love....all tools of change.♥️

Last day of !!! This has been so much fun!! Thanks to everyone who participated in May I honor me. Peacock pose
How-to: From hands and knees, turn your hands out and around so fingers are facing backward. Have your hands about 6 inches apart, bend your elbows, and lower your body onto your upper arms. Your elbows will be at your lower abdomen. Bring your upper arms parallel to the ground and lean your weight forward to extend your legs and lift them off the ground.
Tips: Your hands and elbows can be together or apart, depending on balance on how it feels in your abdomen, so try both. For an easier way to lift your legs off the ground, bring the bottoms of your feet together, knees out to the sides, and lift from there.
Benefits: Builds arm strength, balance, and concentration. Good for circulation.

Day 4: I Am One With Divine Energy
We're so excited with how many people have joined our challenge!! Join at any time, and, catch up by posting all of the previous poses! Never too late to join. Inspiration to start comes unexpectedly. ♥️ Easy Seat:
Come to an easy seat on your mat (feel free to prop up on a block or blanket). Find a tall spine, relax your shoulders and close your eyes.
Allow your palms to face up while resting on your knees in order to receive the energy you’re connecting to.
Stay for 10 full breaths, repeating the affirmation, “I am one with divine energy.”

Day 5: I Am Safe and Grounded
Mountain Pose:
Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Keep a slight bend in the knees and press all four corners of your feet into the ground. Allow your shoulders to relax, stand tall, and open your palms forward.
Maintain a strong core and tuck your tailbone down.
Stay here for 5-10 breaths, and with each inhale repeat the affirmation, “I am safe.” On your exhale bring your attention to your feet rooting into the mat.
