A Cheat Meal / Refeed meal in my world means: it

is a temporary break from calorie restriction that involves a controlled day of overeating with a focus on carbs. It aims to counteract the negative effects of calorie restriction and aid weight loss.

How does a Cheat Meal / Refeed meal work?

You may wonder why a temporary calorie surplus would lead to weight loss, but the reasoning behind it addresses one of the main problems most people have when losing weight — a weight loss plateau or slowdown.

THE BIG DAY. Cheat Day/ Refeed Meal(s)

When you’re trying to lose weight, you may be in a calorie deficit most days, therefore progressively forcing your leptin levels to drop.

By introducing a cheat/refeed meal every week or so, you might temporarily increase your leptin levels through increased calorie intake, which may help keep your body’s fat-burning process working more efficiently.

Carbs are the main focus of cheat/refeed meal due to their superior ability to increase leptin levels, compared with fats or proteins. Therefore, by eating carb-rich foods on your cheat/refeed meal, you’re likely giving your body the best chance to balance its leptin levels.

I hope this helps understand why some ppl need this STRATEGY.

Yo! It’s your sista-frien’ and Coach Drea! Welcome to a new creation of mine. my cheat day stilo!

So, about this MADNESS I started LOL!

So, long story short I have been dieting for along time. I started because my health was in jeopardy and I needed to lose weight, eat clean(er) because I had developed High Blood Pressure and that was just a gateway to other s**t my doc said could happen, that was when I was like mid 20’s, I am 33 now fam.

So, along my journey of crash dieting, hiring bad coaches, I finally got the experience, education, and hired the best coach ever to help me. It's been 7 years strong and I found out what works for me.

I am now into bodybuilding and I compete as soon as my physique is ready! Yass! But while prepping I found it hard to figure out what Cheat Meals to eat that would help me metabolically and satisfy me mentally….at the same time. If you been on this dieting train you know what I mean. LOL.

I use cheat meals, or ppl call it higher calorie day, refeeds, whatever, lol. So what I did was put all my wants and desires into a refeed fu**in treat for myself and those like mehhh!! Ha Ha!

So, I started making these Lit AF high quality desserts for my refeed/cheat days if you will and give them to my fit fam, my clients, and for those who simply just want something different.

So what I want to do is offer something crazy, different, with cleaner ingredients, that will hit the right way.

I created this because I am a creator, I create alot of s**t, and I love to eat. I will also post other treats I make that are low in calories for all the low days.

And people do think I am whack because I am supposed to be all organic, eat spinach all day, and not be normal sometimes, but hey, this is STRATEGIC and it doesnt hurt my body, why because it takes days of eating dirty to end up obese, not one meal, out of a month, or a week. I train hard and eat like a champ.

I do believe in health, nutrition, training hard, and IDK if there is a balance because life is just crazy AF...but I do believe that when there is a time for us all to fu**in enjoy something, then we should enjoy them. Whether its a cheat or a diet hack to satisfy our sweet tooths, f**k it.
