ATTENTION ILLINOIS HOME HEALTH AGENCIES
Palmetto GBA has determined the Review Choice Demonstration Cycle 1 results for approximately 25 percent of Home Health Agencies (HHAs) who selected Option 2 or Option 5 were incorrect. In these cases, some of the full pay claims were calculated as partial pay, thus inadvertently lowering their claim approval rate. New results letters will be generated for any HHA affected by this change. Most of the providers in this group will remain with the same set of review choice options as indicated in their original results letter. Those providers who will now have a different set of options to select from will receive a call from Palmetto GBA to inform them of the change in addition to a letter. Calls will be made on January 6, 2020. The Palmetto GBA provider portal was updated on January 4, 2020, with the correct options available for these providers.
