Congratulations to our Athlete of the Month: Vanessa!
(Vanessa) There’s a saying that says, “It takes a village to raise a kid”. As a mom of two, I believe the same can be said about the embarking on any health journey. Two kids later and a little over a year since going back to the gym. I wouldn’t be where I am today, if It wasn’t for the support of my EADO classmates and coaches. My noon classmates kept me accountable during my maternity leave and the evening bootcamp allowed me to continue my journey after going back to work. Working out gave me that mental break that I needed as a mom trying to juggle work, being a wife and taking care of two kids. None of it would have been possible without my village at EADO. For that, I thank each and every one of you who helped me along this journey! If I could offer advice to anyone thinking or wanting to start on their fitness journey it would be to find your village and keep yourself accountable. It’s all worth it at the end!
