Hey y'all! Our Service project for the Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project went so well! We got a lot of supplies donated at the adoption yesterday. And surprise surprise, I took home a dog! The one in the background is Ranger, he's already so loved in my home. 🐶💕💛💚😻

“There comes a time when it is vitally important for your spiritual health to drop your clothes, look in the mirror, and say, ‘Here I am. This is the body-like-no-other that my life has shaped. I live here. This is my soul’s address”

40 Days: Come Together Week 3: Equanimity 02/05/2015

This week at Big Yoga Houston, 40 Days participants are challenging themselves to find equanimity. We love how Meggie so vividly captures the very real struggle to come back to what we know...again and again and again.

"Choosing equanimity doesn’t mean there isn’t pain. It doesn’t mean you always feel happy or that life always feels easy. Equanimity, rather, means choosing to gently shift your vision again and again and again with a commitment to developing a heart of faith."

This perfectly captures what we are doing in Eat Breathe Thrive as well. Retraining our mind to find balance and joy in our relationship with our body. You can still join us for the remaining five sessions! www.bit.ly/ThriveTribeHouston
