Wanting something different for dinner? This sweet and sour chicken recipe is the best! It's simple, delicious, and works in any fit kitchen. Even better: this recipe makes enough food to feed about four people. Now you can wow your friends or parents when they come for dinner.
I made this dish a couple of months ago and boy was I pleasantly surprised! It was so good! I even got 2 thumbs up from a very picky eater!
Serve this delicious protein with some pre-cooked vegetables and brown rice to make it a complete meal.

A little video of the plyometric exercises that was posted the other day. No excuses.

Easy at home leg & core plyometric work out taken from the website below.
Well, it might look easy but 2 days later I'm still a little sore!
I have started using this work out a couple of days a week while I'm training for a half marathon. This is great cross training for runners to get strength training in and get better stability to help with your running.
Do each exercise then go back and do second or third round!
As copied from an article on www.running.competitor.com:
"Since you utilize mostly slow-twitch fibers in distance running, plyometrics teach your body to also rely upon fast-twitch fibers. When you maximize muscle recruitment, you’re able to turn your legs over faster and push off harder. This means increased economy and faster times.
If your body can’t handle all the pounding (or you just don’t love running), working in plyos twice a week could conceivably cut your mileage by a quarter. After warming up, give these exercises a shot and you may just find that when you drop mileage, you also drop time."

Everyone loves sweets so how about a better alternative for the Holiday season?
Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Crisp
(Yields 18 servings)
Ingredients
3 cups Nature’s Path Crispy Rice
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 cup whole oats
1/4 cup crushed almonds
1/2 cup Xylitol brown sugar
3/4 cup smooth unsalted natural peanut butter
3 tbsp. dark unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
1. Pour the crispy rice, protein powder, whole oats, and crushed almonds into a large bowl and shake gently. Avoid stirring to keep the protein powder from settling on the bottom.
2. In a small glass bowl, combine the brown sugar, peanut butter, cocoa, honey, and vanilla extract and microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring until combined.
3. Add the peanut butter mixture to the crispy rice mixture and stir with a rubber spatula until every piece is coated.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13 Pyrex dish or use cookie cutter shapes as molds* and fill with the mixture, pressing firmly into place. Place the 9x13 Pyrex dish in the freezer for at least one hour. Allow the crisp to soften a bit before cutting the squares, or simply break off pieces with your hands.
5. Store in the freezer.
*If using cookie cutters, be sure to remove them before putting the crisp in the freezer.
