We are officially settled in Germany šŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ !

These past 4 months settling in have been intense. Both good and hard. After a few weeks the honeymoon phase faded, sleep regression kicking in took its toll and the frustration settled in. Having a place with no furniture, closets and lights was difficult yet we learned exactly what is essential to us and what we needed slowly.

There were many days of scattered brain and losing things. A true ADHD nightmare. But now we are more settled and everything has a home the focus is there and getter better. The boys are loving Germany and school. Nature and outdoor fun is everywhere.

They say that it takes about 6 months minimum to settle in both mentally and physically. I find that to be true.

If anyone ever tells you that moving abroad with kids is easy.. LIES. No matter how much you prepare you will still face challenges. Now is it worth it? Absolutely Yes.

Have you ever moved abroad?

And with that 2024 season comes to an end. A lot has happened. A lot of struggles with strength built. However, I’m so grateful to be able to have this opportunity to grow and have you be part of my community.

Thank you šŸ™šŸ»
My moto this year was. ā€œHonor your Capacity, finish what you started.ā€ It was a success!

This year was one of those years where a lot of chapters ended and new doors opened.

šŸš€Raising two kids that are still in diapers.
šŸš€Michelangelo surviving his first year
šŸš€Both boys starting school together
šŸš€Balancing work and motherhood
šŸš€Started simplifying systems to make my ADHD life easier and efficient.
šŸš€Repositioning my brand and message to support my community: empowering moms and student struggling with Math and/or ADHD
šŸŽ™ļøInvesting more time into the Launching Forward Podcast. I am loving it more and more.
āœ…Finished Harry Potter after 23 yearsšŸ™Œ
āœ…Finished all unfinished projects or just kicking them to the curb

Being online and on social media can be very draining and exhausting. During this time as things unwind and rewind, I like to give myself permission to unplug, relax and reset. A lot of baking and meal prepping, decluttering and planning out 2025 slowly.

I love to use these last few days of the year to focus on family and prepare for the new year. Sometimes we need to shut it off. It’s important and healthy. 🧠

Sometimes you just need a break and recharge. Cannot wait to share with you the big things that will be in store for you and more next year.

Work hard play hard! See you all in 2025!

Thankful and Grateful šŸ™šŸ»

Wishing you all a great start of the Christmas Holiday season!

Thank you all for following and being part of the Math and ADHD community. It’s been a journey and I’m very thankful for all your help and support.

Moms, parents your children are thankful of you. They may not say it but they are when they hug you and kiss you. That’s what I’m telling myself right now since we are in the thick of it. 🐢🐢 Being a mom is a huge responsibility (na really? Duh) and a lot of people are depending on us. We are tired but thankful.

A big thanks to all the parents who have trusted me in helping their children with math tutoring and ADHD coaching. I am thankful to you, your kids and for allowing me to be part of your team. It takes a village.

How have you felt gratitude and thanks from your family?

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

It is observed annually on October 15 and is happend to be my son’s birthday. 🌈

It’s a day to honor babies who have died before or during birth, and to raise awareness of the emotional and psychological impact of pregnancy and infant loss.

Moms listen…

I just want you all to know that it’s ok to feel what you feel. Others may say something to comfort you but it would just not feel right. Some of us just don’t know what to say. Some say the right thing. They are sorry you had a miscarriage and cannot imagine what you are going through. I have had my share of painful comments. Just know you are forever a mom.

When I lost Leonardo and Raphael before Donatello and Michelangelo I was heart broken. I know my two boys are in heaven while my other two are here with me keeping my company on earth.

Please give yourself this time to feel. I know I needed space before being able to talk about it. Just know that you are and will always be a mom.

At lease 30% of pregnancies lead to miscarriage. A fact I didn’t know until I found out I was having a miscarriage.
